 The log shows you are trying to do a 4-way universal build, and the error
 message is:
 {{{
 /usr/lib/crt1.10.5.o, missing required architecture ppc64 in file
 }}}
 Snow Leopard's system libraries don't contain ppc64, and though they do
 contain ppc, there's no reason to compile anything for ppc on Snow Leopard
 either, since Snow Leopard doesn't run on any PowerPC machines. Go edit
 macports.conf and set universal_archs back to i386 x86_64.
