 You asked is there any way to keep kext somewhere in the /opt/local. I
 said that it is possible to do, but in this case kextload needs to be run
 as a root. The code that checks permissions is here
 http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/kext_tools/kext_tools-177/kextd_request.c
 search for "not in system extensions or filesystems folder" text.

 As a solution I proposed not to use kextload at all. Just load the kext at
 boot and remove kextload usage from libfuse.
