Comment:

 glib2 can build fine without pkgconfig installed, but it needs pkgconfig
 (or rather, its m4 files) in order to run autoconf.

 I think the right solution here is to drop the pkg.m4 file from pkgconfig
 into ${worksrcpath}/m4macros/
