Comment:

 I couldn't reproduce the problem after several tries, but parallel build
 issues can be notoriously difficult to reproduce. I also don't have the 4
 CPU cores you appear to have, nor Lion at the moment.

 Based on your log and the Makefile code, it sure looks like there could be
 a parallel build issue. I tried to fix it in r86601. It (still) builds for
 me.
