 That is not a problem. The MacPorts project distributes binaries of some
 ports now, and MacPorts tries to fetch them. In this case, no binary of
 gdbm is available, so it next it will try to fetch and build the source.

 This is the real problem. Did you read the MisbehavingServers page? Did
 you check the contents of the file that got downloaded?
