 If you're interested, feel free to see what I did to package tenfourfox
 for fink, I'm happy to share the work.
 I didn't bother packaging ldx3 separately, just listed it as another
 'source'.
 As of today, I've got versions 4-6,8-11 in our stable tree (10.4 and
 10.4-EOL), and all versions run smoothly so far.
