 e.g., "qt4-mac +debug" would be an obvious choice.  I'm noticing issues
 compiling Qt 4.8.1 when a prior version of Qt is already installed; I
 don't know how much / if this really hurts the new build, but it certainly
 makes things take longer than necessary (which is already quite long).

 When I was building macports Qt lib there were no other installations of
 the libraries on the machine. Now I have pre-compiled binary directly from
 Qt guys. I can give a try to build updated macport version later today
 though.
