 I'm getting the same error, so I attached my build log.

 It fails for both +universal and -universal (x86_64) builds on my 10.7.3
 system. (However, if I don't use +universal, it finds a binary package,
 which works fine; I have to explicitly port -s build it to see the
 problem.)
