Old description:

New description:

 sudo port install libsdl-devel gives the following error message:

 Snowball:Library Alex$ sudo port install libsdl-devel
 --->  Building libsdl-devel
 Error: org.macports.build for port libsdl-devel returned: command
 execution failed
 }}}

 This seems to be, however, not a problem directly related to the port but
 to the new OS X and the Carbon Core API.

 I have attached the logfile.

 The original log was not complete (contained lines that say "Skipping
 completed") because you had not cleaned beforehand. So thank you for
 cleaning and trying again and attaching the new log with the universal
 variant.
