 Configure says:

 {{{
 checking for jpeg... no
 checking for /usr/include/jpeglib.h... no
 checking for /usr/local/include/jpeglib.h... no
 checking for /opt/local/include/jpeglib.h... no
 Could not find libjpeg.h.
 Try setting the location using --with-jpeg-libdir.
 }}}

 My MacPorts prefix on this machine is not /usr, /usr/local or /opt/local
 so this fails.

 The suggestion given in the error message works. May I commit the attached
 patch?
