The archives show this had been a problem that was reported before, but I
couldn't tell whether what I propose is consistent with the MacPorts
 process. The code in
 ''/opt/local/share/doc/py27-pyqt4/examples/demos/qtdemo/menumanager.py''
uses the library location as a prefix to locate the Assistant app, but
MacPorts installs it in a location the demo code does not expect. I simply
put the actual MacPorts location of the Assistant app into the existing
test for the darwin/OS X version.
