 Even a git version would have to fixed to a particular change set.
 Otherwise, it's extremely tricky to resolve bug reports. We wouldn't know
 which change set a user would have installed. Of course, we can add a
 -devel port for a particular change set, but this is typically done only
 if the non-devel version is broken for some architectures or if there are
 some critical new features in the devel port. I will check if 2.2.16.2
 builds and runs on Lion.
