 Assuming you are getting your portfiles via rsync, like most users do, you
 needed to have waited 30 minutes after Michael committed the change. The
 rsync server only picks up changes from the Subversion repository every 30
 minutes.

 "`[+variants]`" is not to be entered literally; you're supposed to replace
 that with the set of variants you want to use, if any.
