 gnwiii : It looks like you're using fortran installed somewhere other than
 MacPorts. Apple does not provided such a program. Do you know where this
 fortran came from? I really cannot test this change without either using
 what Apple or MacPorts provides. Using MacPorts' gfortran from gcc47,
 surprise surprise, results in the same runtime issue.
