 The runtime help files are not tracked in the patches provided for vim.
 There has been an [http://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/macports-
 dev/2012-April/018518.html earlier discussion] on this topic on macports-
 dev and this is also stated in the discussion you linked above. The only
 source for more up-to-date runtme files would be the mercurial repository
 where the files are updated irregularly.
