 Hi,

Installing Octave @3.2.4 failed as described in ticket #38694. I followed
the advice given there: I uninstalled octave and then installed octave-
devel @3.6.4. The installation worked fine. When I type
`/opt/local/bin/octave` it works as expected; when I type just `octave`,
 however, I get the error

 `-bash: /Applications/Octave.app/Contents/Resources/bin/octave: No such
 file or directory`

even though `which octave` says that `/opt/local/bin/octave` is what bash
will look for first. The /Applications directory does not have a copy of
octave. I haven't found this or a similar error addressed in the trac
system. Any suggestions how to get bash to look for the right version?

I am running OSX 10.8.3 Mountain Lion with Xcode 4.6.1.

 Thanks,
 Hershel
