 The ImageMagick folks apparently fixed this in a later release, see
 http://www.imagemagick.org/discourse-server/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22513

 I'll give a try at using ports to get all the dependancies and then run a
 manual build to see if I can confirm the latest release fixes the problem.
