 The {{{erlang}}} port in the above mentioned repository seems to work with
 {{{wxGTK}}} 2.8 for me. Or at leas it compiles. I have no idea how to
 check whether {{{wxWidgets}}} actually work with {{{erlang}}}. Feedback
 welcome. The patch wasn't required any more since it's already included
 upstream.
