 Scotch 6.0 has a bug that makes is unusable with the MUMPS package (which
 requires scotch). I was advised to keep to the 5.1.12b version:

 I'd be thus in favor of not updating.

 I have almost ready port file for 5.1.12b that I could submit on Monday
 (Mac only at work, not at home).
