Comment:

 Calendar functions are a separate PHP extension. php54 and the other PHP
 SAPI ports deliberately don't include most extensions; they're in separate
 ports so that you can install the ones you need and avoid installing the
 ones you don't need. For php54, calendar functions are in the
 php54-calendar port (`sudo port install php54-calendar`).
