 Thank you for advice, h5utils successfully installed.
 But now I get this:

 sudo h5topng str-x2.h5>x1.png
 h5topng(3579,0x7fff79091310) malloc: ***
 mach_vm_map(size=18446744052302057472) failed (error code=3)
 *** error: can't allocate region
 *** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
 h5topng error: out of memory
 }}}

 What s the problem?
