 I'm curious why you've added this line:

 {{{
 configure.cflags   "-Os -I${prefix}/include"
 }}}

 and also why this line already exists in the portfile:

 {{{
 configure.ldflags  "-L${prefix}/lib"
 }}}

 since both of those values are the defaults.
