 See also #40174. Quite honestly I don't think that it's worth spending any
 time trying to get the old mingw working. It might be a lot more useful to
 get the MinGW-w64 working for both 32-bit and 64-bit. Designing the ports
 from scratch and keeping them up-to-date with the latest GCC release.
