Comment:

 For me, ode @0.13 always installs version 3-ish regardless of variants:
 /opt/pspp/lib/libode.3.dylib.

 Can you check which versions of ode are installed? `port -v installed ode`

 It would seem the ode update has broken opal as I can't get opal to build
 with ode 0.13.
