Comment:

 Simply put, you cannot. `ifort` is not available from Intel for inclusion
 in MacPorts so, by design, it can't be used. You have a few options if you
 really want to this:

 * create a local port copy of `netcdf-fortran` and explicitly set the
 location to `ifort`
 * convince Intel to offer an open version of `ifort` to include with
 MacPorts
