 I did a

 sudo port clean inkscape
 }}}

 followed by a

 {{{
 sudo port upgrade inkscape configure.compiler=macports-gcc-4.9
 }}}

 and now building completed successfully.

 However, {{{inkscape @0.91_1}}} reproducibly crashes just during startup:
