 OK; thanks. So I think the issue here is that "macports-clang-3.4" was
 used for building, while Apple clang's libc++ was used for the runtime C++
 library. This was sort of the same issue as using "macports-gcc-4.9" and
 linking with the (older) Apple gcc libstdc++. Either will cause issues.

 Can you try reinstalling (uninstall first) including
 "configure.compiler=clang" on the command line? I think that will take
 care of the issue, but I don't yet know why it's not being selected
 automatically.
