 Actually I've realized that running "sudo port select gcc gcc47" would
 create that gcj symlink for you. I knew it created symlinks for C and C++
 compilers, but I had forgotten that it also creates symlinks for the Java
 an Fortran compilers.

 Did you install this gcc47 port on El Capitan, or is it left over from a
 previous OS X version?
