 I can't manage to build standalone atlas (+gcc5). ( It seems +nofortran
 avoids the error but then I get problems for atlas dependent ports such as
 Octave)

 MacOS X: El Capitan 10.11.6

 XCode: 8.1

 Macports: 2.3.5.
