New description:

 when exiting xfig, i.e. with meta-q, the program does not terminate and
 the one of the following error messages is shown in the command window:

 xfig3.2.5c: X error trapped - error message follows:
 0
 Request code: <Unknown>

 [1]+  Segmentation fault: 11  xfig -noscalablefonts Vrh-Vce7-composed.fig
 }}}
 After that, the xfig job needs to be killed from the command line

 The issue might be related to ticket #50934, supposedly solved
