 Ryan, could you please scrap the submission for now. PEAR is only free for
 Academia. The developers oppose installation through MacPorts for the
 moment. The portfile as is allowed me to install the program on my
 computer. I just thought it might be be of use to some like me. Sorry for
 wasting your time
