 This continues to be a problem.  If I understand the failure correctly,
 the perl dependency used in this port
 {{{
 bin:pod2man:perl5
 }}}
 allows /usr/bin/pod2man but, on 10.6, the version provided is too old and
 doesn't accept the --utf8 option required here.  Using a dependency style
 that requires a specific MacPorts perl version throughout this port would
 probably correct this issue.

 This failure causes gucharmap to fail as well on this platform.
