 xorg-libX11 fails to configure on 10.8, when set to build from source with
 `libc++`.

 It does build on the same system though, a 10.8 vanilla vm, when set to
 build from source with `libstdc++`, only adjustment being changing the
 path with `xcode-select`.

 There's a similar ticket under 10.12, closed as worksforme #52335. I
 attached the logs.
