 @cjones, this would be easy enough to fix, in principle. Particularly
 relative to fixing the header path.

 But are there any gotchas I need to be aware of, when adding `-nostdinc++`
 to the compilation arguments? I'm thinking in terms of quoting, word-
 splitting [when the argument is passed down the line], etc?
