Comment:

 According to your log the distfile checksums do not match. This is not
 surprising since the [PortfileRecipes#unversioned-distfiles distfile is
 unversioned] and it has been changed by its developer since the last time
 this port was updated. The port should be switched to use a versioned
 distfile, if available. If not available, this update should be handled as
 a [PortfileRecipes#stealth-updates stealth update].

 In May, ps2eps was [changeset:5583a3ec4a54be5e50ba54d66e98ebb2de206d21
 /macports-ports allegedly updated from 1.68 to 1.70] but was in fact not
 updated at all. The port still installs 1.68 despite claiming to have
 installed 1.70:
