Problem installing libcompat

This seems odd to me.  I'm running on Intel (and Mac OS X 10.4.9),  
but it seems to me that the architecture really shouldn't make a  
difference; I've checked against the PPC Darwin sources online, and  
there doesn't seem to be a difference between the bsd.*.mk files that  
are called, and I'd be very surprised if gcc was behaving differently  
between platforms in this way.  Still, it is a possibility, so if you  
post the output of "sudo -td install libcompat" after cleaning  
libcompat (or from your original "sudo port -d -v install libcompat"  
if you still have it), that might help me figure out what's happening.
