Installing xfig: "Library not loaded"

My xfig also always crashed when I clicked on the file menu,
that's why I un- and re-installed. It sounds like this is an
actual xfig bug. I have some libXaw in /usr/X11R6/lib, not the
one xfig wants, but none in /opt... I'll start over. Thanks.
