Error in macports upgrade build

I have seen something like this before, and it seemed to be something funny
with the filesystem.  I was able to recover this way:

Delete /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/libxslt/
Run port selfupdate
Run port clean --all libxslt

Then I was able to go back to my upgrade.
