apr-util not building because it can't find db

'which file' are you using?

$ file /bin/ls
/bin/ls: Mach-O universal binary with 2 architectures
/bin/ls (for architecture x86_64):	Mach-O 64-bit executable x86_64
/bin/ls (for architecture i386):	Mach-O executable i386
