tmux patched to work with iTerm2

My project for today is to learn tmux. Immediately I came across the tmux patch that makes it work closely with iTerm2.

This means, I have to recompile tmux with the patch. Right now I have the macports tmux, and I am wondering if a version patched with the iTerm2 integration could be made available.
