error trying to install p5.12-locale-gettext

Can you "sudo port clean p5.12-locale-gettext" and try again? If that gives you a permission error too, try manually deleting the directory /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_perl_p5-locale-gettext
