If it fails again, these two logfiles will contain pertinent information. If reading them does not lead you to a solution, you can create a ticket in our issue tracker and attach the logs there and someone will take a look. However it is most likely a problem on your machine, not a general problem with the port, since gtk-doc installs fine for me on my systems.

Are you sure you’ve installed Xcode (from the Mac App Store) and the Xcode command line tools (by running "xcode-select —install”)? Both are required.
