any good audio/video editing apps in macports?

Hi,

You should only have run as root (or better via sudo as a regular user. There is a slight difference and macports works best with sudo) the commands the 'port notes' explicitly said you should run through sudo. The rest should be run as your regular user account.

The launchd commands fixed things I would say.
