Trouble using ssh-agent from macports

I have the same problem, I wanted to switch to ECDSA-Keys. But Apple's
ssh-add (/usr/bin/ssh-add) seems to lack support for ecdsa, at least it
keeps on complaining about a bad passphrase (although I type in the
correct one).

Macports' ssh-add accepts the passphrase, but cannot store anything in
the keychain (at least that is what I figured out). I do not know it
this is because there are other keys already stored in the KeyChain,
and these are rsa keys...

Anyone having any hints? Anyone gotten this to work?
