Indeed it does (at least the storing part), thx for pointing that out.

And the executable rejects the -K option.

Indeed they do, presumably because ssh-agent acts as a server.

It'd be worthwhile to (re)consider whether ssh-add/agent ought to be installed by MacPorts in that case...
