Yep. But my clock is perfectly synchronized, I have pacemaker running:

root 255 0.0 0.0 2447228 136 ?? Ss 19Dec14
5:32.35 /usr/libexec/pacemaker -b -e 0.0001 -a 10

and ntpd:

root 84513 0.0 0.0 2446576 344 ?? Ss 24Dec14
0:28.03 /usr/sbin/ntpd -c /private/etc/ntp-restrict.conf -n -g -p
/var/run/ntpd.pid -f /var/db/ntp.drift

Ah, ntpd was started on 12/24/2014. That may explain why the drift file
was last touched at that time.

So it seems it only uses it when starting up, on my system anyway?

I have never installed the "full" ntpd on my machine either, so it's all
Apple-sauce.
