MKVmerge incompatible version?

Hello all, 

I installed MKVToolnix from MacPorts on my 10.6.8. However it reports an error on launch:

> L'interface est configurée pour fonctionner avec un exécutable mkvmerge d'une version différente () de la sienne (mkvmerge GUI v7.9.0 ('Birds') 64bit). Cette situation n'est pas normale bien qu'elle ne soit pas interdite. Vous devriez indiquer un autre exécutable mkvmerge dans les préférences.

Roughly translated to:
> The interface is configured to work with an executable mkvmerge a different version () of his (GUI mkvmerge v7.9.0 ('Birds') 64bit). This situation is not normal although it is not prohibited. You should specify a different executable mkvmerge preferences.

The OK button in the dialog box doesn't do anything…
Any idea why this happens?
