(preferably, some automatic way to remove them all, from all programs?)</div></blockquote></div><br>Those are preserved old versions, from `port upgrade` --- so, if something is broken for you in the new version, you can easily roll back.</div><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">`sudo port uninstall inactive` will clear them.
