Thanks Matt, I've got the book but missed that point.
Any suggestions re my second issue. i.e. translating the selector part
of
sharedAEManager.setEventHandler(self, andSelector:getURL(event,
withReplyEvent:returnEvent), forEventClass:kInternetEventClass,
andEventID:kAEGetURL)
into it's Ruby equivalent?
