Hi,

I ported a small demo the UIKit framework for Mac OS X (http://chameleonproject.org/)  to MacRuby. Although the framework is not currently known to be GC-safe it is working for me:

I will do further investigations in this topic because I want to learn UIKit and playing around with MacRuby is much faster than with Obj-C.
